Rachael been dancing since a very young age. With 12 years of gymnastics and cheerleading under her belt, she has taken ballroom dancing by storm. Rachael started ballroom dancing in 2005 and knew from the first moments that she had a passion for it! Being a coach since she was 15 years old, Rachael knows how to train beginners to advanced students ranging in ages all the way from kids to adults. With her Bachelors in Health and Physical Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University, Rachael plans to use her knowledge and abilities to teach anyone who wants to learn about Fitness and dance or both....DANCE! Her active lifestyle encourages everyone to eat, drink, and live dancing. Rachael currently competes professionally with her students in Pro/Am divisions for American Style Smooth and Rhythm and LaBlast™ certified and teaches several classes in Savannah, Georgia.
Fitness Professional/Tap & Jazz Instructor
Jill started dancing at age 3 and has been on fire since. With her BS in Psychology, she teaches tap, jazz, and phenomenally known for her fitness classes she teaches at various locations including our studio! Jill teaches all ages, shapes, and colors! Her goal is to get you moving and sweating while loving what you are doing with your feet! Jill is also a Certified Personal trainer with connections to Nutrition with Shakeology.
Jill is from D.C. and moved here to pursue her passion for fitness and dance!
Professional Instructor/Master Coach
Jeff started his ballroom dancing career 24 years ago. He is fluent in all American and International styles of dancing. He teaches social and competitive dancers. Jeff has trained with some of top professionals in the United States and currently competes professionally with Rachael. Jeff currently teaches at Academy of Ballroom in Atlanta. He travels to Savannah to share his passion and love for ballroom dancing with all of the coastal empire!
Director of Coastal Casineros and Teacher of Cuban Salsa
Leslie has spent her life dancing. She started with ballet, tap, hip-hop and
jazz as a child. She loved modern dance in college, then started learning
partner dances during graduate school like West Coast Swing and Lindy
Hop. She began cuban salsa almost 7 years ago when she was recruited by
Rumbanana salsa group in Corvallis Oregon. When she came to Savannah, she could not
find anyone doing this style, so she started the group, The Coastal Casineros.
Professional Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing Instructor
Rick started his dance career in ballroom and quickly loved the art of Argentine Tango and Swing. Rick has trained with the best in the business for Argentine Tango and loves to share his knowledge with others. He is known for his dry, quick sense of humor and will get your feet moving quickly on the dance floor. Join Rick as he teaches West Coast Swing and Argentine Tango weekly. Personal Trainer, Insanity Certified
Chris is a Savannah native and a University of Georgia graduate. After
being in the financial services industry for over 15 years, he decided
to help others get great results and reach their fitness goals by
becoming certified to teach the popular Insanity workout program.
Additionally, he is a NESTA Certified Personal Trainer and Group
Exercise Instructor and is experienced in teaching fitness classes to
both adults and children. Chris is married to the former Marnie
MacMillan and they have two daughters. Chris teaches our INSANITY fitness classes. Join today!
R&B Line Dance Instructor and Choreographer
Founder of the SHOWSTOPPERS Line Dance Group
Lamont Hunter has a passion for everyone to dance! He runs several classes in the Savannah area for R&B Line Dance. Lamont choreographs all of the numbers and proceeds that his students donate go to "Savannah Feed the Hungry." We are so proud to have him apart of our team here at Salon de Baile Dance Studio.

Ballet Professional, Adults and Teens
Nicki O’Connell studied Ballet and Modern with some of the best
known teachers in New York City, where she also danced professionally
for a number of years. Nicki continued studying, teaching and
choreographing after moving to Long Island where she raised her three
children. With her husband now retired in Savannah, Nicki welcomes the
opportunity to reengage her life-long love of Dance.
